I just want to take some time and pose a few questions to the masses to make some of us think. Because thinking is something that I feel is VERY often neglected in today's society.
1. Why is it that we have fewer people willing to take the role of a leader than those who are simply just willing to follow?
2. Why are we so willing to believe what we read and see without asking questions?
3. What is your motivation each day when you wake up?
Feel free to respond or just personally take some time with a pen and paper and seriously answer the questions for yourself.
Thank you.
Have a nice day.
Take time to THINK!

1: Leading is not easy, you should know what you're saying and set an example. You are also responsible for your followers. Following is quite easy, you have someone to pull your hands, and someone to blame when things don't work out.
ReplyDelete2: People believe what they read blindly because of who wrote, or they believe that their interpretation is the only right one. So, I would urge people to think critically and do their own research. It's too easy to not search for what is behind the words. But again, it takes time.
3: I absolutely love life, I see every day as a gift from God. That's motivation enough!
1. I believe you are born with leadership skills. You have to have that charisma. You should be able to convince people (followers) to buy what you’re selling. That does not mean an average Joe cannot be a leader someday. However, it requires dedication, hard work and learning from failure. On the other hand, following does not require guts and questioning so it’s very convenient. Being a follower is not necessarily a bad thing depending on who you’re following. If a leader is spreading God’s message and that’s what you’re following, you are in good shape. But if you’re following a hateful person, then you need help.
ReplyDelete2. Lack of experience come into play sometimes. Often we forget we live in a society that is unfortunately untrustworthy sometimes and we don’t question it. You don’t even have to have leadership skills to question things. You just have to have some sense of what’s going on in the outside world. There are people who gossip a lot and everyone knows that person yet we fall into that trap. Why believe anything that person says unless you see it with your eyes? That requires strong will power. How many people have that?
3. I have limitless motivations. I can write a book on that. A. God will reward you for your hard work. B. I love my life. C. Because no one helped me when I was growing up I want to help others. D. I’ve been doubted and laughed at all my life and it motivates me to prove them wrong. E. I have to save at least one life before I die. I can go on and on but you get the idea.
1. Why is it that we have fewer people willing to take the role of a leader than those who are simply just willing to follow?
ReplyDeleteA) We are condition to be follower. By the media, friends, parents, and society. We have been told our whole lives how to talk, what to wear, where to go, and even who we should look up to. We don't even think about stepping out of our box cause we know we would be judge for it. Take me for example, I'm one of the first Christians in my family. That I took the lead and chose to make my life different. I get a lot of negative opinions about it. Why? Cause I'm not following my family believes. Many people are able to be leader but don't. Cause they don't want to be responsible for the cause and affect. Cause you are doing and the affect it will cause. Jesus was a leader and he was willing to die for leading us to salvation.
2. Why are we so willing to believe what we read and see without asking questions?
Look at the first half of the first answer. We are condition to be zombies. rahhhhh!
3. What is your motivation each day when you wake up?
